Black & Decker’s VersaPak tools are great for the homeowner, and to keep them running, you’ll want some spare batteries. Some advantages to these include their freedom from "memory," which keeps you from getting a full recharge and the fact that you’ll get at least 300 full recharges on each battery. They’ll power all the 3.6-volt VersaPak tools, including the ScumBuster and screwdrivers. Of course, once you buy a VersaPak tool, you don’t have a choice of batteries, but we’ve found these to be reliable and well able to power the 3.6-volt VersaPak line. The charger has a light that lets you know you’ve inserted the batteries for a charge, and three hours later, they’re ready to go. Our only suggestion: We’d like to see Black & Decker revamp the charger to let us know when the batteries are fully charged. --Kris Jensen-Van Heste

I have a B&D VersaPak too kit and use it a lot around the house for all sorts of small to medium sized jobs. When my batteries quit recharging to full strength (as they will do in time) I had a hard time finding replacements. I was very happy when I found these and they have worked just like the originals. I did not like the idea of having to buy a whole new set of cordless tools just because of dead batteries.
Amazon ad indicated two each batteries came with the purchase. The charger was received but no batteries. Contacted the seller and was told the batteries were not included. I will never purchase any item through third-party sellers again.
Had to replace the old battery. cheapest. use them on home maintenance tools(screwdriver,drill,flashlight). It's been 3 years, and last set lasted maybe 7 years.
The charger is defective as the left hand charger keeps shutting down. I received the used battery charger and 2 batteries and the batteries were dead upon arrival. I charged them in the charger provided and they stayed dead. Nothing works on anything I purchased from this personOverall a VERY POOR representation of a good used product. I want my money back.
I needed new batteries for my versa-pak. these are fine at a good price and are performing very well.
